Math 281: Mathematical Statistics is a qualifying course for statistics graduate students. It offers an introduction to asymptotic analysis in the classical literature and non-asymptotic analysis which guarantees finite sample performance. More information can be found in the syllabus.

- Topics: stochastic convergence, multivariate normal distribution, delta method, variance-stabilizing transformation, M-estimator/maximum likelihood estimator (identifiability, consistency, asymptotic normality) and nonparametric kernel smoothing.
