Basic course description

Math 200B is the second quarter of UCSD's three-quarter graduate-level abstract algebra course. Math 200a is a prerequisite. The syllabus and lecture information will be found on the Canvas site for the course, which is limited to enrolled students. I am happy to allow auditors with a UCSD e-mail address access to Canvas. If you just want to see the homework assignments and lecture notes, they will be available here on this website.

Lecture Slides

These are the slides from the live Zoom lectures. Warning: bad handwriting! These are probably mostly useful to get a general idea of what I did in each lecture. See the current version of the course notes at right for a nice version of the material---this quarter's material begins with Section 12 of the notes on Modules.
