    • skip "least squares method" (done in class at the beginning of the 11/05 lecture) and "Lagrange multipliers with multiple constraints" (example 4, page 864 from 14.8)

  • study guide: the fact that no definitions and formulas are spelled out for you in the concept review is intentional. The best way to learn is to go through the notes yourselves and extract them.
