Note: There are two components to each homework assignment: graded and recommended, and both should be completed by the due date.

The graded part of each assignment should be submitted to Gradescope on the due date by the deadline set on Gradescope by your instructor.

The recommended part of each assignment will consist of selected exercises from your textbook and is not to be submitted for a grade; however, exam and quiz questions may be based on recommended exercises and you are strongly encouraged to complete the recommended exercises.
