Final Exam Information

For all exam dates, see the Course Calendar.

Final Exam:   Mon, Dec 15, 11:30 - 2:30 pm
Topics: Everything covered in class up to and including Section 5.4.

The Final Exam will be held in the REC GYM. (Follow the link for a map.) Your seat assignment for the Final Exam is posted in Ted (in the Grade Center).

  • You must bring a Blue Book to the exam. (You might want to bring two.)
  • You must bring your photo ID.
  • You may use one 8.5 x 11 inch page of handwritten notes. Both sides are okay. (No photocopies.)
  • You may not use a calculator or any other electronic devices.

Read the *Exam Instructions* including Question Zero!
(These are the instructions for Exam 1, but they will be the same for the Final Exam.)

Sample Exams

The following exams are provided "as is"—as they appeared when administered and without answers. These are NOT practice exams. They may differ in form and content from the exams given this term. (The order of topics was slightly different when I taught this course in Spring 2012.)

Textbook Requirements

The required textbook for the course is Vector Calculus (6th Edition), by Marsden and Tromba; published by W.H. Freeman and Company (2012). (We will cover most of Chapters 1-5 of the text.)

  • This is not the same book that the other Math 20C lectures are using.
  • This is the same book that is used in Math 20E.
  • We will use Chapters 1-5. Math 20E covers almost everything else in this text.
  • If you want to use the textbook from Math 20AB, you must enroll in one of the other Math 20C lectures.
