Call for Posters

The deadline for posters has passed. See here for the list of accepted posters. The original text for the call for posters can be found at the bottom of this page. Read on for instructions on presenting posters.

The maximum poster size is A0 (841mm by 1189mm). If you have not presented a scientific poster before, please do some Internet research beforehand. Stapling pages of a paper together does not constitute an effective poster!

You are welcome to print your own poster and bring it to the conference, or to arrange to print your poster at a local copy shop (e.g., FedEx/Kinko's); the latter will probably cost about $50. Alternatively, we can print your poster for free, under two conditions.

The poster session will take place on Tuesday, July 10 from 3:30 PM to 5 PM, coinciding with the afternoon refreshments break on that day. Setup will take place somewhat earlier, probably during the lunch break. Additional instructions will be given during the conference.

Original call for posters (now expired)

Deadline: Saturday, June 8, 2012.

There will be a poster session during the conference; it will be held during the afternoon on Tuesday, July 10. All participants, but especially graduate students and postdocs, are invited to present posters. If you wish to present a poster, please submit a one-page abstract in PDF format to ants2012 [at] math [dot] ucsd [dot] edu no later than June 8. Notification of acceptance will be made shortly thereafter.
