COURSE DESCRIPTION

WHAT IS MATH 20C? This is the third calculus course for students of mathematics, science, and engineering. In this course we examine topics of elementary calculus, but from a multidimensional perspective. There will be four major themes: 1) Vectors and vector operations; 2) Derivation and integration of vector valued functions of one variable; 3) Partial derivatives of functions of several variables; 4) Integration of functions of several variables.
