- Due April 26:
- Let a and bi be ideals of A. Assume that
- a is a subset of the union of b1, b2, ..., and bn;
- a is not a subset of bi's for i ≠ j for any j.
Prove that there is a positive integer k such that ak is a subset of the intersection of bi's.
