Subject: MATH 183 - Bowers [WI14]: Math 183 Final Exam Date: March 17, 2014 7:08:09 PM PDT Dear class, This is just a reminder that our Final Exam is Wednesday at 11:30 AM. The room assignments for the Final Exam are posted here: http://math.ucsd.edu/~abowers/183/exam3.html Remember to bring a Blue Book and your photo ID. We will be checking IDs for the final exam! Also remember that the final exam does not cover anything from the last week of classes. No confidence intervals for means (although there might be confidence intervals for proportions) and no hypothesis testing. The CAPE response rate is over 70%! Hurray! You can find information about the final exam, including the room in which you will be taking it, at the following link: http://www.math.ucsd.edu/~abowers/183/exam3.html Please be aware that the room assignments for the final exam are different than they were for the midterm. Be sure to bring a Blue Book and your photo ID to the exam. We will definitely be checking IDs during the final exam. CAPES: The CAPE response rate is just over 67%! I want to thank the students who pointed out my mistake when computing the probability of rolling a 2, 3, or 12 given that no 7 had been rolled. (I missunderstood what they were telling me at the time, but they were correct.) Not everyone will be taking the exam in our usual class. It is now scheduled for FRIDAY, JANUARY 31. I could not find a large enough second room on Wednesday, so we had to move the exam to Friday.
