• Discussion:   A01 - Th 8-8:50 (Solis 111); A02 - Th 9-9:50 (Solis 111); A03 - Th 10-10:50 (Solis 111); A04 - Th 11-12:00 (Solis 111). Please check the meeting time for your section and only attend the discussion section in which you are registered. The discussion section is a very important part of the course, so plan to attend. Hand in your homework at your section. Your text and lab homeworks must be separate because they have different graders.

• Computer Lab: You have a reserved time in the computer lab Tuesdays at the same time as your Thursday discussion section. The Lab sections meet in APM B337/349 (A01-02) and CLICS (Galbraith Hall)-Mezzanine (A03-04). This lab complements the theoretical aspects of the course,  MATLAB will be used. Your TA will be in the lab to assist you during the reserved time but you can also do the lab problems on your own computer.

• Stewart, Multivariable Calculus: Early Transcendentals (5th edition) will be used during the first 3 weeks.  We will cover Chapter 11.
  
• Boyce and DiPrima, Elementary Differential Equations  (8th edition) is the main text for the course.

Exams

• Midterm 1: February 1, 8-8:50am.
  
• Midterm 2: March 1, 8-8:50am.
  
• Final Exam: March 20, 8-11am.
  
• NO MAKE-UP EXAMS WILL BE GIVEN.
  

Grading Weights

Midterms 1+2: 20% each,   Final 35%,   text homework 15%,   lab homework 10%. The grading will be done on a curve, the median corresponding to a B-/C+.
CHEATING ON AN EXAM RESULTS IN ZERO POINTS FOR THAT EXAM AS WELL AS FURTHER DISCIPLINARY ACTION.
