Video 1: The Exponential Rule

This video is the second of three (2/3) where we provide rules for computing derivatives. In this video we show how to compute the derivative of the exponential functions.

I recommend that you watch the video Essence of calculus, chapter 5: What's so special about Euler's number e? from 3Blue1Brown's "Essence of calculus" series. (Our topics are in a slightly different order than 3Blue1Brown's topics. The 3Blue1Brown Chapter 4 video is about the Chain Rule, which we won't get to until Lecture 16.)

Video 2: The Product and Quotient Rules

This video is the third of three (3/3) where we provide rules for computing derivatives. In this video we show how to compute the derivative of the product of two functions (the product rule) and the derivative of the quotient of two differentiable functions (the quotient rule).
