Textbook Information

The required textbook for the course is Vector Calculus (6th Edition), by Marsden and Tromba; published by W.H. Freeman and Company (2012).

• This is the same book that is used in Math 20E.
• We will cover most of Chapters 1-5 of the text. Math 20E covers almost everything else in this text.

Exam Information

Exam 1: 31 Jan 2018 (Wed) — Topics included are those from Jan 8 - Jan 26
Exam 2: 28 Feb 2018 (Wed) — The focus will be on topics from Jan 29 - Feb 23
Final Exam: 21 Mar 2018 (Wed) — The final exam is cumulative and covers every topic from the course.

• You must bring your ID.
• You may bring one (double-sided) page of handwritten notes. (No photocopies.)
• No calculators or other electronic devices will be allowed during the examinations.
