Homework Changes

  • The homework for Section 14.8 (Lagrange Multipliers) has been made optional.
    (The homemwork for 14.7 is unchanged.)
  • I have decided to drop the lowest homework assignment. I am doing this because everyone has been working very hard and you all deserve a reward for your effort.

  • Midterm 1 covers EVERYTHING done in class so far: 11.1-11.2, 12.1-12.5, 13.1-13.3, 13.5.
  • IMPORTANT: Even though there are no arclength or tangent line problems on the list of practice problems, you still need to be able to solve problems on those topics. (See homework problems for more practice.)
