I am an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and fifth year math PhD student at UC San Diego. I expect to graduate in June 2022.
My adviser is Jacques Verstraëte.
Starting Fall 2022 I will be an NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Rutgers University under the supervision of Bhargav Narayanan.
My CV can be found here.

My research interests are in combinatorics, and I am particularly interested in graph theory, extremal combinatorics, and probabilistic combinatorics.
Many of the problems I work on involve extremal properties of F-free hypergraphs and of random objects such as random graphs and permutations; but I am happy to work on any problem as long as it's interesting or fun!

Selected publications:

- Counting Hypergraphs with Large Girth (with Jacques Verstraëte). Journal of Graph Theory, 2020.
- Relative Turan Problems for Uniform Hypergraphs (with Jacques Verstraëte). SIAM Journal of Discrete Mathematics, 2020.
- Card Guessing with Partial Feedback (with Persi Diaconis, Ron Graham, and Xiaoyu He). Combinatorics, Probability, and Computing, 2020.
- Slow Recurrences. Journal of Number Theory, 2019

- I'm on the organizing committee for the Graduate Student Combinatorics Conference 2022. The conference will be held March 25-27, 2022 at UCSD.
- With Jason O'Neill I co-organize ABACUS, the Graduate Student Combinatorics Seminar at UCSD.
- With Vaki Nikitopoulos I co-organize Food for Thought, the Graduate Student Seminar at UCSD.
