I am a SEW Assistant Professor at the mathematics department of UCSD, working with Prof. Li-Tien Cheng and Prof. Bo Li. Before that, I was a Postdoc Research Associate in applied mathematics and plasma physics group at TDS center at Los Alamos National Laboratory under the supervison of Dr. Xianzhu Tang. I received my PhD in 2019 from Department of Mathematics from University of South Carolina under Prof. Xinfeng Liu.
My research interests are in the area of numerical methods for free boundary problems and mathematics of scientific computing, with applications in ecology specially in the field of population dynamics, phasma physics, computational biology, and biological physics.
