Course Description

This course will introduce some latest advances in the reserch of nonlinear nonconvex optimization.

Prerequisite

Math 271A/B or equivalent, or Consent by Instructor.

Textbook

The textbook is Moment and Polynomial Optimization, SIAM, 2023. The instructor will provide a free electronic version for all students enrolled in the class.

Homework Assignments

Homework will be assigned regularly. Details about completing homework will be given in class. Please write your names, ID nubmers, and section numbers on your homework.

Grading

The final course grade will be based on the performance of completing homework assignments.
