  • Homework assignments will be posted below. Normally you have about a week to do the homework. You will need to sumbit it via Gradescope by the due time. If you are not familiar with Gradescope, you can find some guidelines for submission through Gradescope here.



  • Homework 1 (due 11:59pm, PT, Fri., Jan. 19th via Gradescope):     Solve and submit all the questions in the problem set Here. You can find the solutions of HW1 Here.

    Suggested problems (Do not submit the following suggested problems, and they will not be graded anyway. However, you are strongly encouraged to go through as many practice problems as you can): Page 16, problems 2, 10;   Page 24, problem 3, 9 in textbook.

    Reading: page 1-32 in textbook.




    Homework 2 (due 11:59pm, PT, Fri., Jan. 26th via Gradescope):     Solve and submit all the questions in the problem set Here. You can find the solutions of HW2 Here.

    Suggested problems (Do not submit the following suggested problems, and they will not be graded anyway. However, you are strongly encouraged to go through as many practice problems as you can): Page 30-31, problems 2, 4, 7;   Page 34, problem 1, 2,3 in the textbook.
