There is no proceedings posted. OUR webpage duplicates theirs. David Gilliam maintains their page and it will die when he retires, so ours will be the only source David Gilliam gave us tex files for the plenaries and semiplenaries, but most will probably not convert to PDF. They are published by Birkhauser MISSING: papers from ordinary talks. No paper copies are known. 1998 Padua - their website has no proceedings , no abstract. We have the plenaries and semiplenaries in tex format, most of which probably will not convert to PDF. - has a book of abstracts and book of ordinary talks not scanned -OUR webpage duplicates theirs. MISSING: papers from ordinary talks. Paper copies exist. NEED SCANNING. 2000 Perp -- their webpage is defunct. Ours is complete from their CDROM (it required fixing). 2002 Notre Dame -- their web site works and has proceedings. Ours duplicates theirs 2004 Leuven -- their site works and ours duplicates theirs. We also have their complete CDROM posted. We do NOT KNOW the details of the published volume. 2006 Kyoto -- their web site is complete. Our site duplicates theirs. 2008 Blacksburg -- their web site is complete Our site duplicates theirs. The 2008 materials in the VT digital archives have the same Windows vs. OS X problem as the 2008 CDROM contents. 2010 Hungary -- their web site is complete Our site duplicates theirs. 2012 Melbourne -- their web site is complete However we are having technical trouble in downloading their proceedings. ------------------------------------------- STATUS of the pre-web MTNS MISSING: everything from Arizona ----------------------------------------------------------- SERIOUS MTNS WEB site trouble. It appears that the 2006, 2008, 2010 MTNS web sites all have a serious problem. They have links to the CDROM contents, eg the proceedings of that meeting. None of these work on an Apple OS -X (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) the best we could tell. The sites do work on Windows in both Firefox and Explorer. As to CDROMS they work as designed BUT if ported to the web fail in the same way as above. The reason for all this is the linking between the PDFs on the CDROM: the links embedded in the PDFs are relative, and different PDF viewers handle these differently. The Adobe Reader browser plug in on Windows and OS X seems to be the only one to handle the links correctly. WHAT TO DO? bill does not know. Where available we should try to archive source code mainly of files which steer one to other files. These are causing the problem here; the individual papers eg B23.pdf are fine. But finding the Frida Jones paper is impossible. Im beginning to see why arXiv requires tex files, they claim without them some format change could cause disaster in the future. ------------------------------------------- MORE DETAILs and repitition. The 2000 PERPIGNAN website has some problems with capitalization in the links to pdfs. If your browser can't find a document, this might be the reason. PDF filenames should be of the form X###.pdf, where X is a capital letter and ### is a number (up to 3 digits). JOHN FIXED THIS, but it has not been thoroughly checked. The CDROM contents on the 2004 website (which contain the proceedings) do not work on Apple OS X with any browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome). It does work on Windows in both Firefox and IE. The reason for this is the linking between the PDFs on the CDROM: the links embedded in the PDFs are relative, which Windows and OS X handle differently, and only work on the web for a Windows environment. The CDROM contents on the 2006 website also have this Windows vs. OS X problem. The proceedings were created with software rented from IEEE, which might be the root cause of this. The 2010 materials also have the Windows vs. OS X problem. STATUS OF OLDER MTNSs: There's nothing for Arizona 1987.
