All the information in this document was found searching the web. If you would like to perform your own searches try these key words: Encryption, computer security, network security, security, pgp, rsa, cryptology, PKI, ssl, certificate, authenitication, and any other words mentioned in this paper.


I took Math 187 at UCSD. This is actually how I learned about encryption, there are, however, a lot of encryption sites on the web.


This paper is the BEST SOURCE for any questions regarding any of the topics in this document. I would start here.

The reason there are so many links for PKI sites is that PKI uses all the topics covered here and most of these PKI pages will directly explain or lead you to other sites for an explaination of specific topics. Also the PKI sites seem to explain things in easy to understand terms.

There is so much information about computer security on the web. Any question you could possibly ask is probably out there, all you have to do is look. These sites are the sites I found most helpful, and I know there are plenty more that would have helped me just as much.
