Important
announcements: 1) The
first
meeting will be held on Friday, Oct 28, 8-8:50am, in CSB 004. 2)
Please review the material in
chapters 0, 1 and 2 in Dummit and Foote and solve as many exercices as
possible from those chapters. A 30 minute test on that material is
scheduled for Monday, October 31, at 10:00am.

own work — copying someone else's is not acceptable. Homework scores
will
contribute 30% to the final grade. Only selected HW problems will be
