Lecture 17: Properties of Logarithmic Function

In this video, we investigate the properties of the logarithmic functions. Logarithmic functions were first introduced in order to make it easier to perform certain computations. Specifically, the logarithm of a product equals the sum of two logarithms, and so logarithmic functions can be used to turn multiplication into addition.

Bonus Video: Proving the Change of Base Formula for Logarithms

This is a very short (3 minutes and 42 seconds) video wherein we prove the change of base formula for logarithms.
