Lecture 19: The Derivative of a Logarithmic Function

Video 1: Derivatives of Logarithmic Functions

In this video, we discuss the derivative of logarithm functions and introduce a technique known as logarithmic differentiation. Logarithmic differentiation is a technique that involves introducing a logarithm in order to make computations simpler (by means of the logarithmic properties).

Video 2: Proving (Almost) Everything with the Chain Rule

Bonus Video! Here is a video where I use logarithms (and logarithmic differentiation) and the Chain Rule to prove all of the derivative rules (except for the Chain Rule, of course).
