Subject: Math 20A Final Exam
Date: December 7, 2015 at 10:06:06 PM PST
Dear Math 20A Students,
The final exam for Math 20A is Tuesday (Dec 8) from 7:00-10:00 P.M.
Information about the final exam, including exam locations, can be found on the course website:
http://www.math.ucsd.edu/~abowers/20a/exam3.html
Please be aware that most final exam locations are different than midterm exam locations. Students in

posted in their Ted Grade Center.
You must bring your Student ID (it will be checked *during* the exam!) and at least one Blue Book. You
may bring one sheet of notes (both sides are okay), but they must be handwritten (no photocopies).
Sincerely,
Adam Bowers,
Math 20A Coordinator

Subject: LaunchPad Score Errors
Date: November 25, 2015 at 12:33:10 PM PST
Dear Math 20A Students,
If you have been given a zero score for an exercise in LaunchPad that you have done correctly, contact
LaunchPad technical support to report this error. Please state in your error report:
"I have done the exercise correctly, but I have been given a score of 0 points."
(If you have been given a green checkmark, be sure to mention that, as well.) Be sure to clearly indicate
the homework assignment and exercise number.
The final homework assignment (Homework 10) is due 01 Dec 2015. All homework scores will be downloaded
from LaunchPad 08 Dec 2015 (the day of the final exam) and they will be considered final at this time. Make
sure that all errors are reported on or before **December 1st** so that changes can be made on or before
December 8th.
**Reports made after December 1st may not be considered.**
Sincerely,
Adam Bowers,
Math 20A Coordinator

Subject: Math 20A LaunchPad Announcements
Date: November 21, 2015 4:01:35 PM PST
Dear Math 20A Students,
I have two important announcements to make regarding your online homework.
1) Please make sure that you are registered with LaunchPad using your UCSD email address. Your UCSD
email address is necessary to import your score into Ted at the end of the quarter. If you are not
currently registered with your UCSD email address, you must change that. (You can change your email
address within LaunchPad by clicking on your name in the upper right corner of the screen and
selecting "Manage Profile".)
2) LaunchPad support is currently fixing scoring errors. They have already regraded Assignments
01 - 08. Please check your past assignments in LaunchPad to make sure they have the score you believe
they should have. If any of your correct exercises have not been awarded full points in LaunchPad,
please send an email to [REDACTED FOR PRIVACY] with the subject
LAUNCHPAD SCORE ERRORS
Be sure to list the specific assignments/exercises that need to be regraded.
Please keep in mind that you are able to submit homework after the due date and still receive credit.
(It says "Past Due" in LaunchPad next to an assignment after the due date has passed when you can still
submit homework for full credit.)
Sincerely,
Adam Bowers,
Math 20A Coordinator
